A Bayesian approach to estimation of multiple intrinsic physical properties of rock and saturating fluid using NMR simulation and measurement

摘要:Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements of sedimentary rocks are used to extract various storage and transport properties, including porosity, pore size distribution, irreducible water saturation and relative permeability. These estimates are traditionally derived from a simplified relationship between the total relaxation rate and the product of surface relaxivity and surface-to-volume ratio.
