摘要:By microscopic observation and geochemical analysis on solid bitumen from conglomerates of Triassic Baikouquan formation (T1b) in Mahu depression, the origin and occurrence characteristics of the bitumen and its significance to petroleum geology were examined. The results demonstrate that the origin of solid bitumen is Permian Fengcheng source rock (P1f). Because of the dissipation of early oil generated by P1f, the heavy components precipitated and experienced a long-time thermal alteration to form bitumen. The first discovery of solid bitumen from T1b in inner Mahu sag is a strong proof of the contribution of early hydrocarbon generation by P1f source rock. Under the plane-polarized light, the solid bitumen of T1b looks black. It mainly distributes in dissolution pores, microfractures and intergranular pores, contacting with grains by mosaic texture on the whole. By scanning electron microscopy observation, the solid bitumen is basically composed of carbon. It has smooth surface with strong homogeneity and some microfractures. The solid bitumen can easily absorb clay minerals, which may reduce the porosity and permeability of reservoirs and result in high resistance in electrical logging (over 90 Ω). The different biomarkers of bitumen and the corresponding crude oil in reservoirs give rise to the oil mixing phenomenon. Besides, the reflectivity of bitumen could reach 1.2%, indicating that the T1b is in thermal cracking evolution stage. The research on the origin and effect of the solid bitumen of T1b has answered the question of common oil mixing, and played an important role in recognizing the hydrocarbon accumulation process in Mahu depression.
