Influence of salinity change of fracturing fluid on rock mechanical properties and fracture diagnosis after fracturing in tight reservoirs

摘要:Oil and gas exploitation has gradually changed from the conventional reservoir with good physical properties to the tight reservoir. The study of conventional reservoir water-rock interactions can no longer meet the needs of tight reservoirs for oil and gas exploitation. In this study, we used tight sandstones, shales, and volcanic rocks to conduct a series of salinity evolution and triaxial compression experiments by conductivity meter and triaxial compression experimental device. The evolution law of salinity in the fracturing fluid and the characteristic parameters of rock mechanics before and after the formation of the artificial fracture were tested. And the dilatancy volume of the fracture during triaxial fracturing was analyzed. The results suggest that water uptake under the combined action of capillary force and osmotic pressure in tight reservoirs leads to a decrease in rock compressive strength and Young's modulus, an increase in Poisson's ratio. The more complicated the fractures formed inside the core, the longer it takes for the water uptake to reach the peak due to the influence of the fractures, the greater the difference between the matrix water uptake and the co-uptake of water by the matrix and the fracture. The fracture dilatancy points corresponding to different lithologies are significantly different: the higher the compressive strength and Young's modulus are, the lower the Poisson's ratio is, and the corresponding fracture dilatancy points shift to the right. The more complex the fracture morphology and the larger the fracture dilatancy volume are, the more intense the salinity changes after fracturing. The paper is larger significant for the fracturing design for tight reservoirs and the evaluation of the fracture complexity after fracturing.
