Law of temperature change and calculation method in subsea Christmas tree internal overflow channel
摘要:The heat transfer characteristic rules of the flow channel in steady-state and unsteady-state conditions are quite important for the design of the flow assurance, and operations for the well shut-in and workover of the subsea Christmas tree, however, the heat transfer model is still not perfect and its temperature law is not clear yet. Taking a subsea Christmas tree in the South China Sea gas field as the example, the temperature field model and the radial temperature distribution function of the flow channel of the subsea Christmas tree were built. In normal production and shut-in 8 hours conditions, the laws of temperature change and the temperature drop distributions of the flow channel were revealed. Meanwhile, in order to reduce the risk due to low temperature and high pressure, the subsea Christmas tree insulation performances of insulation materials were researched with different thermal conductivity and different insulation layer thicknesses at 1500 m water depth. The results show that the temperature of the fluid in flow channel is consistent with the internal oil and gas temperature in steady-state. Unsteady-state heat transfer is divided into 0-0. 3 h sudden drop region (most serious),0. 3-4 h slow-fall region and 4-8 h stable region, in which internal temperature is close to seawater. Based on the environmental parameters of a gas field with 1500 m in the South China Sea, 5 mm thermal insulation layer can meet the thermal insulation requirements. ? 2022 University of Petroleum, China.
