Coupling hydrate with membrane to enhance gas separation efficiency: A case study of propane-hydrogen mixture
摘要:The coupling of hydrate and membrane synergistically enhances their mass transfer driving forces, thereby achieving superior gas separation capabilities. An independent set of hydrate-membrane coupling separation devices was constructed, and the separation experiment under constant volume and temperature was conducted. The experimental results demonstrate that the implementation of the coupling method leads to a 31.29% enhancement in separation efficiency compared to series separation. The experiments clearly delineate the effects of various operational parameters on the product gas and provide a detailed analysis of the synergistic promotion mechanism by coupling. In anticipating of future industrial demands, a model based on experimental data has been developed to simulate continuous feed constant volume coupling separation processes. A comprehensive analysis of various feed rates is presented, along with a proposed method for determining the optimal feed rate.
