The position control of machine tool based on fuzzy adaptive PID control
摘要:During the machining process of CNC machine tool, the controlling procession of cutting tools plays an important role in the quality of the finished parts. In order to minimize the cutter deviations from the tooling paths, some deeper research need to be carried out on the structure and method of the tool position control system. This paper introduces the composition and working principle of the tool position system, on which the mathematical model and the transfer function are built. The MATLAB is used to establish the simulation of the tool position control system while the time domain analysis of the simulation is carried out to obtain the dynamic characteristics of the system. Afterwards fuzzy PID control is added to the system to compare the response with that under square wave input. The experimental results show that the new tool position control system performs well and the response speed gets further improved with fuzzy PID control added in.
